Andrew Mills is a roaming fingerstyle guitarist based in Sacramento who thrives on performing captivating instrumental arrangements of popular songs, creating an engaging performance experience that guests talk about for years to come. He takes the songs couples already love, turns them into unexpected, beautifully crafted guitar arrangements, and brings them right into the celebration.

Andrew helps modern couples celebrate effortlessly, with an entertainment experience that’s custom designed around their vision, so they can focus on the joy, not the logistics.

His goal for the ceremony is to make it so breathtakingly beautiful that guests are left speechless as they arrive. Andrew greets them at the door with romantic acoustic guitar music, then moves to the altar for a mini-concert that sets the perfect tone before transitioning seamlessly into the processional. Couples can also ask him to create a unique arrangement of their bridal procession song, made exclusively for them.

Cocktail hour is where the party really begins. Andrew plays with more energy, creating a vibrant, lively experience that keeps guests engaged and encourages them to get up, move, and sing along. He moves through the space, engaging with each guest and creating an atmosphere that inspires dancing, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

During the dinner reception, he moves throughout the room, stopping at each table to deliver personalized performances that add a touch of magic to the celebration. Couples just need to tell him their favorite song, and he’ll perform it for the two of them at the head table.

His repertoire runs to several hundred songs, since he creates custom arrangements for client requests. His published song list reflects the breadth of styles and eras he covers, from Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, the Beatles, and Stevie Wonder to Motown, jazz standards, country, film and Broadway favorites, and current pop from Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo.

Everything guests hear is performed live by Andrew. He brings his own sound system and all the audio equipment the event needs, including a handheld microphone the couple and officiant can use during the ceremony. For remote locations without power, he has battery-powered sound systems and his own portable power station, so all he usually needs from the venue is on-site parking. He can also emcee the wedding as an add-on.

Andrew is based in Sacramento, but most of his weddings take him to Napa, Sonoma, and the Bay Area, with the occasional celebration as far south as Carmel. There are no travel fees for events as far as Lake Tahoe, Santa Rosa, and the Bay Area, and couples closer to home in Sacramento and the Central Valley are just as welcome. Past celebrations range from the Napa Valley and Northstar Resort at Lake Tahoe to Antiquité in Midtown Sacramento.

The result is an experience shaped around each couple’s vision, one that lets them relax, trust the process, and truly enjoy being together.
