His music can shape the quieter moments of a ceremony, create an easygoing atmosphere during cocktail hour, or bring more energy to a reception. Kevin performs solo, and couples can choose between finger-picked acoustic instrumentals and guitar with vocals, layered with ukulele and harmonica. Drawing from an eclectic mix of covers and original songs, he thoughtfully curates each set around the couple, the venue, and the atmosphere they want to create, and he’s happy to learn songs that aren’t yet in his repertoire.
That repertoire leans into timeless sing-alongs reimagined in his coastal-folk style, from Bill Withers’ “Lovely Day,” Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl,” and Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” to Tom Petty, the Beatles, Eric Clapton, and Sublime. Fans of the sound he’s most often compared to are in luck: Kevin can play essentially any Jack Johnson song on request. His own original songs, available on Spotify, can be woven into the set as well.

Kevin brings more than a decade of wedding experience, 25 years of playing guitar, and more than 150 shows a year across California and the West Coast. After a welcome party in Paso Robles, one client said he “showed up on time and crushed it,” another in San Luis Obispo said he “just totally got the mood we were going for,” and a reception in Cambria earned praise for his ability to read the room.
