From Slow Farmhouse Mornings to Dancing in the Barn
Set on 129 acres in Elk Grove, just south of Sacramento in California’s Central Valley, Lamoure Vineyards is a family-owned estate with a history reaching back to the 1800s. Owners Nicole and Casey restored its barns and farmhouse while keeping the land’s agricultural character, and today the property is home to vineyard rows, rose gardens, courtyards, and the estate’s own sparkling wines.
At Lamoure, a wedding isn’t just an event. It’s a weekend: slow mornings in the farmhouse, curated wine tastings, and time with the people who matter most. The farmhouse provides on-site lodging for the duration of the wedding experience, so couples can begin the day at their own pace, share breakfast with their people, and step out into the vines for portraits before guests arrive. Guests have easy access to nearby hotels.
The day moves naturally across the estate. Ceremonies take place among the vines, on the Estate Lawn, or in the ceremony barn, a rustic chapel-style space with weathered wood, stained-glass accents, and pews. Cocktail hour drifts into the courtyards and gardens, or into the restored wine barn, which overlooks the vineyard rows and comes with a built-in bar and an elevated DJ platform. Dinner and dancing move into the Reception Barn, a modern 5,000-square-foot white barn with high ceilings and natural light. The celebration can close with a morning-after brunch before everyone heads home.
Both sides of the wedding party have their own space to get ready. The bridal suite sits upstairs in the farmhouse, with plenty of natural light and a private balcony, while the ceremony barn has its own groom’s quarters.
The estate rental includes the farmhouse, the bridal suite, all three barns, the lawn and gardens, and an outdoor dining patio strung with market lights and chandeliers. Banquet tables and vineyard chairs, a caterer’s prep kitchen, indoor restrooms, and a parking lot are part of it too, and there’s even a charming mobile bar built into a horse trailer. Lamoure hosts celebrations of up to 300 guests, and couples who want a simpler planning process can choose an all-inclusive wedding.
Weekday weddings and multi-day stays offer the same vineyard beauty at whatever pace feels right. The estate’s look is grounded in clean lines, honest materials, and California light. It feels elevated without being formal, and it supports a couple’s own style rather than overshadowing it.
For couples across Sacramento and Northern California, Lamoure offers the ease and immersion of a true destination wedding, without the long trip to get there.
Meet Nicole & Casey, your vineyard hosts from Elk Grove:
“Lamoure is a hidden piece of history dating back to the 1800s, and we’ve restored it to be the perfect place for people to gather. The land is the heart of everything here, from our sparkling wines and weekend tastings to the celebrations that unfold across the property.
We like to think of the estate as your canvas. We’re hands-on in the best way, and we want the space to support your own style rather than overshadow it.
Whether you come for wine or for a full weekend celebration, we hope Lamoure is a place to settle in, breathe, and enjoy every moment, start to finish.”
